Dr. Angelina Popovic joins leadership team with extensive background in optometry and recruitment

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Shopko Optical, a leader in providing trusted eye care services to communities for over 40 years, is pleased to welcome Angelina Popovic, O.D. to its leadership team as vice president of medical and professional affairs. In her position, Dr. Popovic will support Shopko Optical’s teams and doctors of optometry by providing strategic day-to-day leadership to support patient care and optometric services.

Prior to joining Shopko Optical, Dr. Popovic practiced optometry at Visionworks of America specializing in primary care and contact lenses. She also served as a clinical preceptor for the Illinois College of Optometry where she assisted students in their rotations in her specialties.

Dr. Popovic received her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry and Spanish from the University of Illinois Chicago. She also earned her doctor of optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry.
