Why did you choose optometry as your profession?
Because of my own vision problems. I wanted to understand my near-sightedness and binocular vision issues, and to help others understand their eyes better than I did before optometry school.
What do you want your patients to know about your approach to care?
The visual system is one of the most awe-inspiring systems in our bodies. For most of us, it’s easy to take for granted, but I never do. From the simplest case to the most complicated, you will feel listened to and cared for. 99.9% of the time, your problem will not only be solved, but thoroughly explained. When I cannot fully solve or explain what’s happening with your eyes, I will find someone for you who can.
