Shopko Optical Welcomes New Member to Board of Managers

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Shopko Optical, a leader in providing trusted eye care services to communities for over 40 years, is pleased to welcome Liz DiGiandomenico as a new member of its board of managers.

In her previous work, DiGiandomenico was employed with Luxottica, Inc., a leader in the fashion, luxury, and sports eyewear markets, and gained 22 years of experience in the optical industry. During her employment, she held various leadership roles within the Finance and Accounting organization and over 10 years of experience in managed vision care in her role as General Manager of EyeMed Vision Care.

Since 2015, DiGiandomenico has provided her own consulting services to optometrists and optical retailers looking to understand and grow the healthcare and managed-vision care segments of their business.

In addition to her work, DiGiandomenico is recognized as a recipient of the Glass Ceiling Award and Powerful and Influential Women Award from the Ohio Diversity Council. She is also a two-time recipient of the 20 Most Influential Women in Optical from Jobson Optical. Furthermore, DiGiandomenico has been involved in the leadership of the National Association of Vision Care Plans, National Association of Specialty Health Organization, Essilor Vision Foundation/Kids Vision for Life, and One Sight Foundation.
