Shopko Optical Ends Year With Influx of New ECP Hires and Sets Plan to Open 50 or More Optical Centers in 2021
As the challenging 2020 year comes to an end, Shopko Optical noted in an announcement this week that it managed to maintain “steady growth in hiring qualified optometrists and expanding its optical centers during a tumultuous year.”

Shopko Optical names new CEO
Shopko Optical has named Russ Steinhorst as its chief executive officer. Steinhorst joined Shopko Stores Operating Co. in January 2009 as vice president, controller and held the positions of senior vice president, finance, CFO and most recently, CEO. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Hudson Sharp Machine Co. and O’Sullivan Industries.
