Optical center brings patient-centric care and eyewear to Champlin community

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Shopko Optical, a leader in providing trusted eye care to communities for over 40 years, is pleased to open its new center in Champlin, Minnesota. The new location, opening November 9, is located at 11995 Business Park Boulevard. Aimee Violette, O.D., is joining the team at the new center and can provide complete eye care services, including eye exams, contact lens fitting, and diagnosis and treatment of eye disease.

“We are thrilled to expand our eye care services to those living in Champlin,” said Russ Steinhorst, Shopko Optical CEO. “Dr. Violette is an exceptional optometrist, and she is looking forward to directly improving the quality of life for people within the community and surrounding areas.”

Dr. Violette graduated from Ohio State University College of Optometry and specializes in primary eye care, cataract and refractive surgery co-management, urgent care, and contact lenses.

In addition to opening its new center, Shopko Optical is delighted to expand its Project Eyecare program to Champlin’s community. Shopko Optical staff will work with the local Lions Club to identify deserving children within the area to receive a free comprehensive eye exam and pair of glasses.
