Contact lens fitting, pediatric exams and disease management
Catherine chose optometry because she believes it helps people of any age in a way that improves their everyday life. She loves being able to meet new people each day as well as continuing to get to know established patients and their families. She experiences joy in helping a young student see the board clearly or offering relief for someone suffering from years of dry eye. She also enjoys being able to fit a patient in contact lenses when they are frustrated with their glasses or help someone with an eye infection or injury.
Catherine believes optometry is a great mix of amazing science, creative problem solving, fashion, and design and enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level. She provides her patients with thorough, honest care to help them make the best decision about their contacts or glasses. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, hiking, biking, swimming, reading, and enjoying a good cup of coffee. She regularly volunteers at her church and her children’s school and is a native of Appleton.
