This product came to me slathered in machine lubricant. I cleaned it up as good and I could and then started to cut some meat with it. It worked alright, but soon the meat was coated in gray gue and I realized that more of the lubricant had come out of the machine while I was using it. So I took the machine apart. The inside of the product was covered in lubricant. There was zero way I was going to be able to slice meat and not have lubricant come out while it was running.
I took the product apart and washed every bit and piece, let the parts air dry, and reassembled it. Then the product didn't work. It simply wouldn't run any longer. Thinking I'd just bought a faulty machine, I traded it in for new one. Guess what - same exact problem. And I did the same thing yet again and now I have a machine that won't run. My guess is that there is a small amount of lubricant required for this machine to run properly, but how much and on which parts? The amount of lubricant it comes slathered with cannot be right. I read the directions, and they call for a full cleaning of all parts before and after slicing meat. So why doesn't it run afterwards?
