Shopko Foundation

The Shopko Foundation supports the well-being of Shopko communities, teammates and the company. The Foundation recognizes there are more worthy charitable causes than it has resources to support. To maximize its impact, the foundation has a narrow focus of giving that supports the communities where the company has operations.

The Shopko Foundation believes in supporting community projects that may be accessed by, and our contributions made well-known to, Customers and teammates of Shopko. The following grants are awarded by the Foundation to support the mission:

Green Bay Area Community Grants

Objective: To enhance the quality of life through charitable causes, events, and activities within the Green Bay Area and Northeast Wisconsin.

Our goal is to make our home town community a better place to live and prosper for our existing and future teammates.

Teammate Community Service Grant Program

Objective: To support those charitable causes that are supported in a meaningful way by our teammates.

Teammates who volunteer their time for a non-profit organization in their communities are eligible for a Teammate Community Service Grant from the Foundation.

Each year Shopko will award a number of grants to charitable organizations on behalf of our teammates. We encourage our teammates to submit an application on behalf of their charitable organization.

Scholarship Program for Shopko Teammates and their Children

The Shopko Foundation is establishing a new scholarship program for eligible Shopko Teammates and their family members. The purpose of the scholarship program is to support the education and careers of our Shopko family.

The Shopko Foundation will make grants to qualified applicants in amounts of up to $2,500 for a given academic year.

In general, the Shopko Foundation does not support the following:

- Programs or events that do not address the Foundation's mission
- Programs or events outside of Shopko communities
- Sponsorship of athletic events or cultural exhibits
- Individuals requesting personal assistance or sponsorship
- Advertising in event programs or yearbooks
- Religious, political, labor or fraternal organizations
- Events with multiple or competing business sponsors
- Golf outings
- Organizations that discriminate on the basis of sex, creed, national origin or religion
- Charitable requests in support of raffle, auctions, or similar fundraising events
- Charitable requests for donations of merchandise or gift cards
