Our Staff Pharmacist represents Shopko with the highest standards of professionalism and care.

Following are the required criteria for a Shopko Pharmacist:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D from ACPE-approved College of Pharmacy.
- Excellent communication skills, along with the ability to coach and develop others.
- State Pharmacy license.

Pharmacy Technician
Pharmacy Technician

Do you want to gain more knowledge of pharmacy operations? If so, a pharmacy technician position may interest you. The pharmacy technician's main goals are to assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions and provide excellent customer service to customers.

The following experience and skills are required:
- Professional training as Pharmacy Technician.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task; ability to respond with flexibility in a quickly-changing environment.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written) for effective interaction with pharmacy team and patients.
- Must demonstrate an exemplary commitment to provide exceptional customer service.
- Must be able to operate cash register and handle all check-out options (charge, discount, etc.).

Summer Pharmacy Interns
Summer Pharmacy Intern

The Shopko Pharmacy Summer Internship Program is a great way to experience the rewards of working in a retail pharmacy while practicing the skills learned in a classroom setting. Internships are tailored to the individual needs of each student and include learning in several areas such as: pharmacy management, consultation, drug interactions, pharmacy ethics, pediatrics, pregnancy, and disease state management. In addition, interns complete a final project which may include coordinating a diabetic or health fair, researching a new drug or conducting a smoking cessation clinic.
