ShopKo operates a state-of-the-art Optical Lab in Green Bay, WI, that provides excellent quality products and service to all 140 locations. The Optical lab manufactures and supplies the majority of eyeglass prescriptions and lenses at ShopKo Eyecare Centers. Contact lens distribution, sunglasses, supplies and equipment maintenance are also part of the lab's service to the stores. The ShopKo Optical Lab offers opportunities for entry level positions, opticians and managerial staff.

The Optical Manager is responsible for ensuring Shopko standards of operation, controlling all expenditures and analyzing/monitoring all financials of the optical center. They are also responsible for ongoing training and development of the optical team. The position requires a two year degree or equivalent experience in business or previous optical position.
